- indoor/outdoor (interior/exterior) classification
- room type classification – e.g. recognizing that image is either kitchen, or bedroom, or bathroom, etc.
- basic pattern types classification of fabric (carpet) images – e.g. if the fabric (carpet) has linear, solid, textured, or geometric patterns
- custom classifiers based on user provided training samples for the desired classes
